Hossack has a family in Steinbach in Manitoba, Canada. Her experience in musical theatre began at the age of a teenager at Killarney in Manitoba. The first thing she was a piano player at the time she started her Brandon University studies. Then she switched to voice. When she graduated her studies, she claimed she would like to be an actor and had no interest in drama. After graduating from Brandon She then attended the Banff School of Fine Arts. Hossack began his stage show at the Rainbow Stage and the Muskoka Festival, in Winnipeg. Other World (1989-1992), Cobra (1993-1992) and Rent (1996), Hope Island (1999) as well as Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital 2004. In 2006, she starred on the show as Falcon Beach for Canadian TV.
