Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), was born to Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She comes from Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda lived living in California in the San Francisco Bay area, California she was the youngest of four children. The acting bug grew in her as a ten year old when she played a role as a singer in a school's annual Christmas production. Then she began to appear at school and community stage productions. Linda studied at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. After graduation she had to make a decision. Should she move to New York and pursue theatre or Los Angeles in order to study film and television? After graduating, she had to make a decision on whether to pursue television and film in Los Angeles. Linda's first role was on the show in 1996 Bone Chillers. Her breakthrough part was when she got her first role as a character in Freaks and Geeks (1999). The acclaimed show played decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show received an Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.

Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). Lily James has a profession as an English actor. She was trained at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and started her career in the British television show Just William (2010). Her breakout moment came in the year 2015, when she portrayed the lead role in Cinderella, a fantasy film. Her previous roles included the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James was then cast as The Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. In addition, she has starred in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 earned her Golden Globes and Primetime Emmy Awards.
