Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian actor. She received the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are all spoken fluently. Her mother was a violinist, Her father is a professor of theater at one of the best Romanian theater schools. Awarded with the Best Female Actor Award in 2000, for her performance in the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. She was chosen as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She was a teacher for four months at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress born on 01 April, 1978, in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca - an actress who is of Romanian descent began her career as an actor in Sex Traffic a British/Canadian TV film for which Anamaria Marinca won the British Academy Television Award. Her debut film Sex Traffic won the award of British Academy Television in the category of Best Actress. She also was awarded numerous awards for her role in the film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She starred as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and two days (four months 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 days) which was awarded with the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was another film where she starred. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in the BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular in The Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. She later had a prominent part in the film Fury where she played the role of a German woman known as Irma the aunt of Emma.
